Get a taste for nutrition

I think most of us would agree, that, when we eat better, we feel better.

We have a tendency to seek for foods, which are not always good for us, especially considering the type of lives we presently live.

Evolution has conditioned us to search for food that is high in fat and in carbohydrates. This can lead us to forget about the rest of the macronutrients that we also need. Times of starvation have also played a part in our evolutionary process in conditioning us to eat as much as we can in one go. Back in the day, we never knew when we were going to eat again. All these factors combined, associated with a sedentary lifestyle can make us put on weight and are highly correlated with early mortality rate.

In this series of blog posts, I will give you hints on how to satisfy your body with smaller amounts of food and how to tweak a few things around your eating habits. If you follow some of the tips, you might find that you will stay healthy and at least maintain your weight.

My healthy habits lifestyle helped me to find health and now my blog stands as a motivational set of texts to get you started on the path to become healthier and more conscious about what to eat and how to eat it.

If you are unsure whether to stick with main meals three times a day or smaller and more frequent ones, if you find it difficult to understand how to apportion your meals, if you want to find out what kinds of food you can mix and the ones you shouldn’t, keep an eye on this blog series and my thoughts on nutrition.
