Sunflower seeds burgers are a great alternative to loved by many meat burgers and they will satisfy any burger fan. They're vegan, gluten, nut and dairy free. Very simple but tasty and satisfying. Every time my daughter and I have fast food craving, we make them together and enjoy our little guilty pleasure.
Ingredients for 6-8 Burgers:
200g sunflower seeds
One teaspoon herb pepper
One teaspoon bear garlic
One teaspoon herb provencal
About 100 ml of warm water
What to do:
Grind partially sunflower seeds in a coffee grinder. Place them into a mixing bowl and add all seasoning and mix with a spoon until all well combined.
Add water slowly, you might not need as much, and mix all until dough is sticking together.
Form patty hamburgers in your hands. Sundry them on a sieve or tray for 30 min. In winter dry hamburgers in the oven at 40 C.
Serve with crunchy salad leaves, fresh onions, pickles, tomato slices and tomato salsa.
Tomato salsa:
Two very ripe fresh beef tomatoes (soaked in water for at least 20 min)
6x sundried tomato haves (without salt)
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Cut fresh tomatoes into small pieces. Blend them with a hand blender until smooth.
Cut sun dried tomatoes into small pieces and add them to blended tomatoes. Add seasoning to your liking. Enjoy!
